AppLovin Max
AppLovin Max is the second ad provider built into the app (the other being AdMob). Once configured, it shows the same two types of ads in the game:
- Interstitial ads — full-screen ads shown between finished games.
- Rewarded ads — opt-in video ads that hand the player extra coins for watching.
AppLovin handles the ad content, tracks your earnings, and pays you monthly.
Third-party service — costs & fees. AppLovin Max is a service run by AppLovin Corporation, independent from CodeCanyon and Visuella. Signing up is free, but AppLovin may withhold a processing fee on ad revenue, apply minimum payout thresholds, and change its pricing at any time. Review the current terms on applovin.com before enabling ads.
Pick one — AppLovin Max or AdMob
The app supports two ad providers, but you can only use one at a time. If you enable AppLovin Max, leave the AdMob page turned off, and vice versa.
AppLovin Max is a popular alternative to AdMob and can pay well for casual games like this one — but it usually requires that your app is already on the stores before your account is fully approved.
Step 1 — Create your AppLovin account
Sign up at applovin.com with your email. It's free to join.
AppLovin manually reviews new accounts, so approval can take anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days. You can start filling in the dashboard right away, but ads won't fill until your account is approved.
Step 2 — Add your app to AppLovin
You need to add your app twice in the AppLovin dashboard — once for Android, once for iOS:
- In the AppLovin dashboard, go to Applications → Add App.
- Pick the platform (Android or iOS).
- Enter your app's name and its package name (Android) or bundle ID (iOS) — the same App IDs you set in Installation → App IDs.
- Repeat for the other platform.
Step 3 — Get your SDK key
The SDK key is a single value that identifies your AppLovin account — it's the same on both platforms.
- In the AppLovin dashboard, go to Account → Keys.
- Copy the SDK Key — a long string of letters and numbers.
- Keep it handy for the Setup Page.
Step 4 — Create your ad units
For each app (Android and iOS), create two ad units in the AppLovin MAX dashboard:
- Open MAX → Ad Units → Create Ad Unit.
- Pick the platform.
- Choose the format:
- Interstitial — for the full-screen ads between games.
- Rewarded — for the opt-in coin-reward videos.
- Give the ad unit any name (e.g. "Between games").
- Copy the Ad Unit ID — a shorter alphanumeric string.
- Repeat until you have four ad unit IDs total: interstitial + rewarded, for Android + iOS.
Step 5 — Fill in the Setup Page
Open the Setup Page in your browser and go to the AppLovin Max section. Turn on Enable AppLovin at the top, then fill in:
- SDK key — the SDK key from Step 3 (used for both platforms).
For Android:
- Interstitial unit ID — the Android interstitial ad unit ID from Step 4.
- Rewarded unit ID — the Android rewarded ad unit ID from Step 4.
For iOS:
- Interstitial unit ID — the iOS interstitial ad unit ID from Step 4.
- Rewarded unit ID — the iOS rewarded ad unit ID from Step 4.
Click Save.
Step 6 — Run sync
As with every other setup step, run the sync command in your terminal:
make syncBehind the scenes, this writes your SDK key into the Android and iOS build configuration so ads start loading as soon as the app launches.
Ad settings — how often ads appear
You can control how often interstitial ads appear (games between two ads, etc.) from the Installation → General page. Start with the defaults and only adjust once you have real user data.
GDPR / consent for European users
For players in Europe (EEA), advertising rules require asking the user's consent before any ad is shown. The app already includes the required consent screen — you don't need to add anything or write any extra code. AppLovin's SDK will show the consent prompt automatically on the first launch in those regions.
Very important — never click your own ads
Even a handful of clicks on your own live ads is enough to get your AppLovin account frozen or banned for "invalid activity". This applies to:
- Clicking ads on your own device while testing.
- Asking friends or family to click your ads.
- Running the app on an emulator while ads are live.
Until your app is on the store and you've been paid at least once, treat every ad in your own app as untouchable. AppLovin's SDK can show test ads in development mode, so you can safely see the layout without risk.
The rewarded ad reward
When a player watches a rewarded ad in your app, they always get 20 coins, no matter what reward value you configure in the AppLovin dashboard. This is a fixed value inside the app.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Where do I get the latest version of the app?
On your CodeCanyon Downloads page, signed in with the account you bought the app with. Updates are free for life — see the Upgrade Code page for the safe way to move to a new version.Do I need a Mac to publish on the App Store?
Yes. Building an iOS `.ipa` file requires Xcode, which only runs on macOS. Android builds work on any operating system. Why don't in-app purchases work when I install the APK on my phone?
In-app purchases, Play Games and other Google Play services only unlock when the build is uploaded to a Play Console track (Internal testing is the fastest) and installed via the Play Store on a device signed in as a tester.Do you provide the source code?
Yes — every CodeCanyon purchase includes the full Flutter source code plus all assets, so you can customise anything. Can I use the same license for two different apps?

Google Play: a few days for the very first submission, then a few hours to a day for updates. Apple App Store: usually 24–48 hours per submission.
